Nethrar, Nether Portal Management for Minecraft Servers

Nethrar is an archived Bukkit plugin that gives server administrators detailed control over Nether portals and links between multiple worlds. It recreates the familiar survival portal experience while offering smarter placement, configurable destinations, coordinate scaling, and custom world relationships. This makes it possible to connect several Overworld, Nether, End, or other worlds without relying on a single default pairing.

The plugin can keep chunks loaded around portals to reduce teleportation problems, supports custom world generators, and allows boats or minecarts to travel through portals, including without passengers. Permissions, respawn redirection, debugging, and special portal blocks are also configurable. BoxToPlay presents Nethrar as a historic option for carefully managed legacy Minecraft server setups.
