Server Performance, Smooth Chunk Save is a Java Edition optimization mod that changes how a Minecraft server writes chunk data. Instead of saving many chunks in one heavy operation, it spreads the work over time, helping prevent sudden lag spikes and keeping tick performance more consistent during exploration, chunk unloading, and routine world activity.
