Burnt Basic, a richer vanilla fire experience

Burnt Basic is a Minecraft Java mod that transforms ordinary fire into a dynamic natural force. Instead of vanishing quickly, flames spread across wooden blocks and trees through smoldering, burning, and charring stages, leaving twisted burnt forms and potentially useful resources. Fires can begin through flint and steel, flame arrows, lava, lightning, or fire barrels.

Its wind system affects a blaze’s direction and intensity, while smoke, embers, ash, distant plumes, biome conditions, rain, water, fire extinguishers, wind charges, and iron golems make every fire more unpredictable.
