StressTestBots is a lightweight Minecraft Java Edition plugin that creates fake players inside a Bukkit based server, helping administrators measure how their setup behaves under additional player activity. It is designed for development, capacity checks, and performance troubleshooting rather than ordinary gameplay.

Because the bots are represented as server players, they can help exercise player related systems and expose potential bottlenecks in plugins, worlds, or configurations. The project is written for Paper API and supports Bukkit, Paper, and Spigot environments. It requires Java 21 or newer and an offline mode test server.
