LegacyVoiceChat

LegacyVoiceChat brings proximity voice chat to a Minecraft server running classic Java versions, covering releases from Minecraft 1.0 through 1.8.1 and beta builds. It supports several legacy ecosystems, including Bukkit, Babric, Ornithe, Risugami’s ModLoader, StationAPI, Better Than Adventure, and Project Poseidon.

Its 3D positional audio uses player direction and distance to make voices feel natural, while push to talk, voice activation, microphone sensitivity, custom devices, mute, deafen, and private groups add flexibility. As a work in progress, it may still contain bugs or interface changes. At BoxToPlay, we see it as a strong choice for social gameplay on a classic Minecraft server.
