Carpet NPC’s Minecraft Plugin

Carpet NPC’s is a Java plugin for a Minecraft server that adds the simple /summonnpc (name) command. It creates a player styled NPC with a visible name tag, making it useful for arenas, survival events, roleplay scenes, tutorials, or decorative server areas. The summoned figure behaves like a survival player, so players can interact with it as a combat target.

If the NPC is killed, the server displays a death message in chat and the character leaves the game, creating a convincing player encounter. This is a beta project, so occasional bugs are possible. At BoxToPlay, we see it as a lightweight way to add life and activity to a Minecraft server.
