Porting Lib

Porting Lib is a Minecraft Java Edition library mod that helps developers adapt Forge based code for Fabric and Quilt. It does not add a standalone adventure or make Forge mods work on Fabric by itself. Instead, it provides reusable APIs and compatibility utilities that other mods can use as dependencies.

Its modular toolkit supports extra block and item extensions, entity attributes, fluids, registries, configuration, data generation, loot, recipe book categories, model loading, rendering, chunk loading, and transfer systems. On a Minecraft server, it works mainly behind the scenes to support dependent mods and modpacks. At BoxToPlay, we consider it an essential library whenever a project specifically requires its modules.
