Corpse, recover your items after death

Corpse is a Java Edition Minecraft mod that replaces scattered death drops with a personal body at the place where you died. The corpse uses your player skin and stores your complete inventory, including equipment, while protecting it from lava and the void.

Right click the body to open its inventory, then retrieve your belongings with their original slot arrangement. After one hour, it becomes a skeleton without changing its function. A death history screen also records past deaths, locations, and recovery options. With configurable ownership, access, and despawn settings, our BoxToPlay server experience makes dangerous exploration less punishing without removing the need to return to the death site.
