HeartLose, death has a cost

HeartLose is a Minecraft server plugin for Java Edition that adds a lasting penalty to every death. Each time a player dies, one heart is removed from their maximum health, making survival, exploration, and PvP more demanding without switching to Hardcore mode.

Lost hearts can be recovered with a special item obtained through the /life command, giving players a clear path to recovery. The effect persists when players change worlds, disconnect, and return later. At BoxToPlay, we recommend it for SMP communities seeking simple, high stakes gameplay.
