Danger Close, a Minecraft realism mod

Danger Close adds environmental hazards to Minecraft Java Edition by making familiar utility blocks capable of hurting entities. Players, animals, and hostile mobs take damage when they step on or brush against torches, campfires, or stonecutters, with stronger punishment from the exposed stonecutter blade. The damage varies by object, while torch damage is disabled by default and can be enabled through the configuration.

This small gameplay change makes building, mining, and mob management more careful, especially in tight spaces. It works on Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge, and suits a challenging Minecraft server.
