Lodestone Update Backport for Minecraft Servers
Lodestone Update Backport is a Minecraft datapack that brings the lodestone changes from Minecraft 1.21.5 to earlier Java Edition versions, including 1.16 through 1.21.4. It replaces the costly Netherite recipe with one iron ingot surrounded by eight chiseled stone bricks, making lodestones far more practical for survival progression.
The datapack also adds lodestones to ruined portal chests in the Overworld and Nether, and moves the Country Lode, Take Me Home advancement into the Adventure category. For our Minecraft server community at BoxToPlay, it offers a familiar vanilla experience with more accessible navigation and exploration rewards.
