Moderner Beta is a Minecraft mod that brings historical world generation styles into contemporary Java Edition, from Classic and Infdev through Beta and release versions up to 1.17.1. It includes the original Modern Beta presets, plus highly configurable generators for terrain shape, biome distribution, fractal layers, noise caves, and surface rules. This makes it possible to recreate the atmosphere of early Minecraft while keeping the content and flexibility of a modern game.
