PasswordProtect is a CraftBukkit and Spigot plugin that adds a simple access barrier to a private Minecraft server. Every player must enter the same configured password before gaining normal access, making it useful for invite only communities, testing environments, and small groups. It is a server password, not an individual account authentication system.
Until login, players can be held inside a configurable jail area, with movement, chat, block breaking, combat, item use, portals, and other actions restricted. Administrators can allow selected commands, require passwords from operators, hash stored passwords, and configure automatic kicks or bans after failed attempts. BoxToPlay makes managing this protection straightforward.
