DropSwap, custom creature drops

DropSwap is a Bukkit server plugin that gives administrators fine control over item drops from creatures and broken blocks. It can monitor selected entities or materials, then add new items, replace existing drops, or remove unwanted loot.

Each rule can define the original drop, a success chance, and minimum and maximum quantities, making it useful for survival, economy, adventure, or challenge gameplay. For example, zombies can sometimes drop feathers, while spider string can become web. At BoxToPlay, we see it as a practical way to tailor a Minecraft server’s progression without changing the client experience.
