Random Item is a lightweight Minecraft server plugin that adds a surprise reward cycle to multiplayer gameplay. When the countdown reaches zero, every online player receives a randomly selected item, turning survival sessions, challenges, and community events into unpredictable experiences. The default timer is 30 seconds, but server administrators can adjust it in game with the /timer command.

Because it runs on the server, players can join with an otherwise vanilla Minecraft client. It also works in LAN worlds, where only the host needs the plugin. At BoxToPlay, we see it as a simple way to add variety and friendly chaos without changing the core survival experience.
