rscPermissions is a legacy Bukkit permissions plugin built for networks running several Minecraft servers. It centralizes permissions, groups, and inheritance in shared MySQL tables, allowing staff to manage player access consistently across a network. Groups can inherit from one another, while permissions may be limited by server, world, WorldGuard region, lifetime, or experience level.
It also provides maintenance modes, promotion ladders, and optional reward commands, with ban functionality associated with the project’s broader feature set and later separated into rscBans. For our BoxToPlay team, it remains a useful reference for structured network administration and conditional player privileges, especially on older Bukkit based setups.
