Buddies, a Social Plugin for Minecraft Servers

Buddies is a command based Bukkit plugin that adds a personal friend system to a Minecraft server. Players can send, accept, ignore, or block friend requests, organize contacts into groups, and receive notifications when buddies join or leave.

Its private buddy chat lets friends communicate without filling the public channel, while configurable messages, friend limits, request delays, and group specific conversations help administrators adapt the experience. Players can also send requests by right clicking another user. Buddies relies on Vault for permissions and was published for older Bukkit releases, making it best suited to legacy servers. BoxToPlay helps us present this social feature clearly for community focused gameplay.
