Pitfall, Trap Your Enemies

Pitfall is a Bukkit plugin for a Minecraft server that turns selected floor blocks into deceptive pressure traps. When a player, mob, or dropped item steps on the trigger, the surface temporarily disappears, sending the target into the pit below before returning to its original state.

The plugin supports configurable trap materials, search radius, destructive height, activation delay, reset delay, and block blacklists. It suits hidden defenses, arenas, dungeon entrances, and maze challenges. With BoxToPlay, server owners can add a mischievous gameplay mechanic that rewards clever construction and surprises unwary intruders.
