Item Renamer is a Bukkit plugin that lets server administrators replace the displayed names of items and add descriptive lore, creating custom terminology or even a complete language pack. It can make familiar objects fit a themed server, RPG system, or adventure experience without changing the underlying items.

Players may still rename items in an anvil, with their personal names taking priority, while permissions and configuration controls help manage access. Because the plugin changes how items appear rather than rewriting their data, our BoxToPlay team sees it as a lightweight way to improve clarity and immersion on a Minecraft server.
