BetterCombat is a legacy Bukkit plugin that reshapes Minecraft server combat by replacing rapid click spam with a charge based attack system. Swords, fists, and other non ranged weapons must recharge after each hit, while partially charged attacks deal reduced damage.

The plugin also gives blocking a clearer tactical purpose, since insufficiently charged strikes can be blocked completely. Charge duration and damage settings are configurable, allowing server owners to tune the experience for survival, arenas, or competitive PvP.
