MonsterEffects, more realistic monster attacks

MonsterEffects is a Bukkit plugin that gives hostile creatures more varied and dangerous attacks. Instead of simply dealing damage, monsters can trigger effects such as poison, blindness, hunger, weakness, burning, lifesteal, item stealing, or critical hits. Some beneficial effects, including speed, regeneration, fire resistance, and night vision, can also be assigned to specific creatures.

Designed for a customizable Minecraft server, the plugin lets administrators configure effects by world and monster, set activation chances, adjust durations, and display custom messages. Its commands also provide configuration management and reload options. At BoxToPlay, it can add an unpredictable roleplay element to survival gameplay, although its documented compatibility focuses on older Minecraft versions.
