FLockClient Server, controlled client access

FLockClient Server is an old Bukkit plugin for CraftBukkit servers running Minecraft versions 1.4.7 through 1.5.2. It works with a required companion client modification, checking whether players use a server approved jar and allowing administrators to restrict access to defined clients.

Designed for modded communities and server security, it offers configurable client profiles, random security keys, permissions, file delivery, texture pack controls, debug options, and commands for listing clients, reviewing information, reloading settings, or banning hardware addresses. Although obsolete today, it illustrates an early approach to client validation for a classic Minecraft server. BoxToPlay presents it as a legacy server utility.
