Simply One Block is a lightweight Fabric optimization modpack for Minecraft Java snapshot 22w13oneblockatatime, Mojang’s April Fools experiment for the never released One Block at a Time Update. It preserves the snapshot’s unusual gameplay while improving performance and usability with carefully selected tools such as Sodium, Starlight, Jade, Mod Menu, zoom support, and small compatibility fixes.

There is no inventory, mined blocks appear directly in your hand, and mobs can be picked up for surprising abilities. Crafting happens in the world, while chickens help you glide, spiders climb walls, and the Ender Dragon can be ridden.
