Fishing Frontier, an Expanded Minecraft Fishing System

Fishing Frontier is a Minecraft Java datapack that transforms ordinary fishing into a rewarding progression activity. It replaces the standard loot tables with tiered catches, custom edible fish, biome and location specific rewards, and useful equipment to discover over time. Fishing becomes more varied, encouraging players to explore different environments instead of staying in one spot.

Custom enchantments add new mechanics, including live creature catches, treasure crates, and lava fishing with the Fireproof Line. Fisherman’s gear, bait, rare rods, advancements, and an informational book provide guidance and long term goals. On a Minecraft server, BoxToPlay makes this engaging system easy to enjoy with friends.
