PrisonGems, a gem economy for prison servers

PrisonGems is a legacy Bukkit plugin that adds an independent gem currency to a Minecraft server. Players can find gems while mining, with configurable drop chances, then spend them on upgrades, special items, or other server features. The system is designed especially for prison gameplay, but it can also enrich survival and custom economies.

Its main tools include enchantment upgrades, gem management commands, upgrade and backpack signs, automatic gem pickup, and integrations with PrisonUtils or CommandOverride. Because it targets older Minecraft versions, PrisonGems is best suited to legacy server setups. At BoxToPlay, we present it as a progression focused economy system for classic prison gameplay.
