Tectonic is a Minecraft Java mod and datapack that overhauls Overworld terrain generation without adding a separate dimension. It creates broader continents, deeper oceans, smoother hills, dramatic mountain ranges, canyons, plateaus, dunes, wetlands, and underground rivers, giving exploration a more natural and varied rhythm.

Its configurable generation can be combined with compatible biome projects, making it a strong foundation for a custom Minecraft server or modpack. With BoxToPlay, our server experience turns these imposing landscapes into memorable spaces for survival, building, travel, and long term exploration.
