Denizen, powerful scripting for Minecraft servers

Denizen is a Spigot plugin and scripting engine that lets server owners create advanced features without developing a complete Java plugin. Its accessible, YAML style language combines commands, tags, events, and conditions to control players, entities, items, quests, interfaces, and many other server systems. Denizen exposes much of the Bukkit API while adding extra tools for deeper Minecraft customization. A VS Code extension provides syntax highlighting and error checking, making larger projects easier to manage. For our BoxToPlay team, it is a flexible way to build distinctive gameplay and interactive experiences on a Minecraft server.
