ImgMap is a Bukkit plugin that lets players render images from direct website URLs onto Minecraft maps. Each image is resized to the game’s 128 by 128 pixel format and converted to Minecraft’s limited map color palette, creating a practical way to display visual content in game.
Maps can be shared through matching map copies and placed in item frames for server rules, notices, logos, posters, artwork, or decorative galleries. ImgMap also supports animated GIF rendering, although this may require significant resources. For our Minecraft server experiences, BoxToPlay offers a simple way to personalize public spaces without client side changes.
