Developer’s note: Blocks come to life when destroyed

Slippery Blocks, living blocks after destruction

Slippery blocks is a Minecraft datapack that turns mining into a dangerous surprise. Whenever you destroy a block, it comes to life and starts flowing. Some blocks remain passive, while others can reveal themselves as hostile creatures that attack you, with encounters becoming more frequent at night.

The pack also gives tools a clearer role: axes work best on wood, pickaxes on stone, and shovels on earth. Its anti lag system returns uncollected blocks or items to an inert state after five minutes, making it suitable for a lively Minecraft server. At BoxToPlay, we see it as a playful twist on familiar survival routines.
