Random Respawn is a Minecraft datapack that turns ordinary survival into a tense pseudo hardcore experience. Whenever a player dies, they return at a random location instead of using a bed, respawn anchor, or established spawn point, making every death a major setback.
Designed for singleplayer worlds and multiplayer Minecraft servers, the pack encourages exploration, mapmaking, trading, and unexpected reunions. Depending on the supported version, death may also clear recipes, advancements, Ender Chest contents, or pets. Teams can be considered, and commands are not required. At BoxToPlay, we recommend it for groups seeking a challenging but non permanent alternative to Hardcore mode.
