Craftable Spawner Datapack

Craftable Spawner is a lightweight Minecraft datapack for Java Edition that adds a survival friendly recipe for the normally unobtainable spawner block. The recipe uses four iron blocks, two chains, two iron nuggets, and one egg, giving resourceful players a direct way to create a spawner instead of relying on dungeon exploration.

Designed to make automatic farms easier to build, this simple addition fits naturally into a survival focused Minecraft server without adding new blocks, mobs, or complex mechanics. Our BoxToPlay team recommends it for communities that want more control over farming projects while keeping the vanilla gameplay feel. It has releases for Minecraft 1.20.1 and 1.21.1.
