Better Cataclysm Combat is a Minecraft datapack for Java Edition 1.20.1 that connects Better Combat with weapons from Cataclysm, Cataclysm Spellbooks, and T.O Magic ’n Extras. It gives these powerful weapons dedicated attack movesets, smoother combo animations, and distinctive sound combinations, making boss encounters and adventure combat feel more varied on a Minecraft server.

Several items receive special handling, including two handed weapons, one handed alternatives, extra attacks, and unique dual wield interactions. Support for Simply Swords supplies some required animations and sounds. At BoxToPlay, we present it as a practical compatibility addition for modded combat, helping large weapon collections work more naturally together without changing the identity of the original mods.
