PromotionEssentials is a Spigot plugin designed to automate rank promotions on a Minecraft server. It can promote players after a set amount of play time, through passwords, interactive signs, tokens, in game money, and, according to the project listing, kills. This gives administrators several ways to reward activity without handling every promotion manually.

The plugin works with Vault and a permissions system, supports configurable promotion rules, and can execute commands when a player advances. The current listing covers Minecraft versions from 1.7 to 1.16. At BoxToPlay, it offers a practical tool for creating structured progression and encouraging player engagement.
