Alternate Current es un mod centrado en el rendimiento que reemplaza el cálculo clásico del polvo de redstone por un sistema mucho más eficiente. Analiza toda la red a la vez, reduce drásticamente las actualizaciones de bloques y de forma, y mantiene un comportamiento muy cercano al vanilla, pero con un orden de actualización estable y fácil de anticipar en cualquier servidor Minecraft.
En la infraestructura de BoxToPlay, este mod resulta perfecto para mundos técnicos, granjas industriales y bases de redstone enormes donde la estabilidad de los ticks y el MSPT constante marcan la diferencia en el juego diario.
