Ambassador, Velocity support for modern Forge

Ambassador is a Velocity plugin that lets a modern Forge Minecraft server operate behind a proxy, particularly across Minecraft 1.13 to 1.20.1, versions that do not receive the same native support as newer releases. It bridges the protocol differences that can prevent Forge clients from connecting reliably through a proxy.

Its main strength is smoother server switching without requiring a client side mod, provided connected Forge servers use compatible mod sets. Ambassador also supports ServerRedirect and can work with Client Reset Packet solutions for faster transitions. We recommend it on BoxToPlay when building a network that combines a Forge server with lobby or other proxy connected servers.
