LoginLimiter is a legacy Bukkit plugin designed to control access to a Minecraft server according to player ranks. It can apply separate login limits to different groups, enforce a global capacity, and reserve available places for regular players while restricting guests. The plugin relies on a permission framework such as Vault or WorldEdit’s WEPIF system to identify groups, including offline players.
When the server is full, players can wait in a configurable queue, with higher ranks able to move ahead of lower ranked users. LoginLimiter can also hold a disconnected player’s slot temporarily and require certain groups to be online before admitting others. At BoxToPlay, it suits administrators managing access on legacy servers.
