Mob to Egg is a Java Edition Minecraft datapack that lets players capture many creatures as spawn eggs. Aim at a mob, hold sneak, then right click with a carrot on a stick to convert it. The mob disappears and its corresponding egg drops for collection.

Designed for Minecraft 1.21.11, the datapack supports more than 80 passive, neutral, hostile, and special mobs, with targeting reaching up to 25 blocks. Particles, sound, and action bar feedback confirm successful conversions. It works in Survival, Creative, and multiplayer without a resource pack, making relocation and Minecraft server management easier with BoxToPlay. Bosses without vanilla spawn eggs remain unavailable.
