mmoChat is a legacy Bukkit plugin designed to organize communication on a Minecraft server through configurable chat channels. Instead of relying on one global conversation, it uses filters to decide who receives each message, making it possible to combine rules such as local range, world, party, or server wide visibility.
Administrators can create channels with aliases, permissions, custom formatting, optional commands, logging, and enabled states. Players can switch their active channel or send a message directly, while built in filters support proximity chat, private replies, emotes, and more. We present mmoChat through BoxToPlay for communities seeking structured roleplay communication.
