TabColor is a lightweight, legacy Bukkit plugin that adds color to player names displayed in Minecraft’s tab list. It helps staff members, ranks, or teams stand out at a glance, making the interface of a Minecraft server clearer and more personalized. Color assignment is controlled through permissions, with nodes covering a broad selection of classic Minecraft colors.
Server owners can define a default color for operators in the configuration and choose whether player display names should also receive color. The project includes no player commands and was last released in 2015, so it is best suited to older Bukkit or Spigot setups. At BoxToPlay, we present it as a simple visual customization tool for organized server interfaces.
