Universal Enchants, more flexible enchantments

Universal Enchants is a Java Edition Minecraft mod that expands the vanilla enchantment system by removing many item compatibility limits. It lets players apply familiar effects to a wider range of equipment, creating practical and surprising combinations such as Infinity on crossbows, Looting on tridents, Sharpness on axes, and protection enchantments on animal armor.

Designed for Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge, it works on the client and server, with optional data packs and configuration for finer control. On our Minecraft server at BoxToPlay, it adds variety to combat, exploration, and gear progression while preserving the original enchantment identity.
