Sortilege, a more cohesive Minecraft magic system

Sortilege is a Java Edition mod that expands Minecraft’s existing magic without replacing its vanilla foundations. It connects magic staffs, enchanting, brewing, and experience into a configurable progression system suited to both solo play and a cooperative Minecraft server.

Players can use tiered staffs that fire instant magical beams, apply effects such as freezing, burning, pushing, or explosions, and improve them with dedicated enchantments. The mod also adds antidotes, faster and stackable potions, cauldron brewing, magic focused enchantments, knowledge based progression, and optional enchantment limits.
