Small Ships, vanilla friendly sailing and naval combat

Small Ships is a Java Edition mod that expands the standard boat with medieval inspired vessels designed for exploration, transport, and sea battles. Cogs, briggs, galleys, and drakkars feature sails, cargo inventories, multiple passenger seats, and handling influenced by ship type and water temperature.

Players can color sails, name ships, repair hulls, and mount cannons using cannonballs stored aboard the vessel. Cargo and equipment affect speed, creating useful strategic choices. On a Minecraft server, our BoxToPlay experience makes ocean travel more social, practical, and adventurous.
