Skin Restorer is a server side Minecraft mod that restores and manages player skins without requiring a client mod. It is especially useful on offline or insecure servers, where default Steve or Alex appearances may replace account skins. The mod can retrieve skins from Mojang accounts, Ely.by usernames, or image URLs, with support for both classic and slim models.

Administrators can enable automatic skin fetching when players join, while permissions provide finer control. Individual skins can also be applied per singleplayer world, and SkinShuffle integration adds a graphical way to change appearances.
