Shield Overhaul, dynamic shield combat

Shield Overhaul is a vanilla plus Minecraft mod that makes shields more active and rewarding during combat. Blocking an attack can trigger a carefully timed parry, stunning the attacker, while attacking during a block launches a forward shield bash that pushes enemies back and briefly interrupts them.

Designed with modpacks and multiplayer in mind, the mod supports Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge on Minecraft Java Edition 1.20.1, for both client and server. Stun duration, cooldowns, immunity, instant blocking, and other values are configurable, making it easy for our BoxToPlay team to adapt the experience to any Minecraft server.
