Player Locator Plus is a Fabric mod for Minecraft Java Edition that replaces or enhances the vanilla Locator Bar, placing a compass style HUD above the experience bar. It displays colored markers for nearby players in the same dimension, helping teammates regroup without opening a map or waypoint screen. The mod supports client and server environments and suits cooperative survival, faction play, and other multiplayer experiences.

Markers can fade or shrink with distance, show vertical direction indicators, and reveal player heads and names while Tab is held. Server owners can configure tracking range, distance data, visibility, and update behavior. Players may hide by crouching, wearing a carved pumpkin, or using invisibility.
