Lenient Death is a Minecraft Java mod for Fabric and Quilt that makes death less punishing without enabling full keep inventory. Designed for server side use, it lets administrators decide which items survive through safe lists, item types, soulbound style rules, or optional chance based preservation.

Lost items can glow to guide recovery, return to their original slots, and be rescued from the void, fire, or lava when configured. Death coordinates appear in chat, while inventories can be saved for restoration.
