Immersive Weathering is a Java Edition mod that adds gradual natural change to the world. Moss spreads across damp cobblestone, bricks crack under heat and time, iron rusts in rainy conditions, wood chars near fire, icicles form in cold areas, and leaf piles gather beneath trees. Grass can also develop taller plants and flowers, making landscapes and builds feel less static.

Designed for client and server play, the mod supports environmental storytelling without constantly damaging creations. Most effects can be reversed, repaired, or disabled, giving players control over upkeep. On a Minecraft server, BoxToPlay makes this atmospheric layer a natural fit for survival, building, and exploration focused gameplay.
