Immersive Optimization is a lightweight performance mod for Minecraft Java Edition that manages how often entities and block entities receive game ticks. Instead of stopping updates completely, it gradually reduces tick frequency where possible, helping farms, animals, dropped items, and distant entities continue working while easing processor demand.

Its scheduler spreads updates across several ticks, limits sudden lag spikes, and dynamically adapts to server load. Compatible with Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge on supported versions, it is especially useful for busy modpacks and entity heavy worlds.
