Habitat is a Minecraft Java Edition mod for Forge that expands the Overworld without losing its familiar vanilla identity. It enriches existing biomes with new plants, food, blocks, and wildlife, while planning to introduce original biomes in the future.
Its current additions include rafflesias in jungles, Kabloom bushes in plains, colorful ball cacti in deserts and badlands, fairy rings with Pooka rabbits in dark forests, slime ferns in specific underground areas, and passerine songbirds across several forest and mountain regions.
