Golem Overhaul, versatile guardians for Minecraft

Golem Overhaul is a Minecraft mod that expands vanilla golems with nine material based variants. Each one brings a distinct role, from the hay golem protecting nearby crops to the slime golem splitting when defeated. Several can appear naturally in fitting biomes, while others are created through themed block patterns.

These golems combine combat and utility in creative ways. Honey golems use bees and slowing projectiles, barrel golems barter with emeralds, kelp golems gain power near conduits, and candle golems launch flames. The netherite golem can even be ridden and summon coal golems. Compatible with Java Edition 1.20.1 and 1.21.1 on Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge, it adds excellent variety to a Minecraft server, including those managed by BoxToPlay.
